Descrizione
After years of begging and pleading, bassists the world over have finally convinced Epiphone to serve up their own version of Gibson's iconic Grabber Bass — the very same bass that's been wielded by the likes of Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Mike Dirnt (Green Day) and Gene Simmons (KISS). This more affordable model has all the classic specs and even includes a premium gig bag.
The Grabber Bass: Full-Fat Sound
Just like the 'real' thing, the Epiphone Grabber Bass has an alder body that comes bolted to a long-scale maple neck with a trusty C-profile. The result is a full and forceful foundation sound with just enough sonic tightness. Plugged in, an Epiphone Bass Humbucker takes over to deliver characteristically fat amplified sound that can be dialled in via a tone and volume pot, and varied via the mounted SPDT coil-split mini-switch.
